It is a contactless writing critique and editing service personalized to your needs. That means you don't have to Zoom, talk on the phone, or extensively communicate. All you do is send me your writing, and you receive feedback and edits. This includes suggested grammar and structural changes, thoughtful feedback and comments on your strengths and areas of improvement, and questions to help deepen your thinking. I also provide word count support, whether you are above or below the allocated amount. All feedback is suggested, meaning no permanent changes are made to your writing.
Please provide the prompt (if applicable) you are working with. Additionally, you can send me any questions you have about the writing process, prompt, or any part of your writing you want me to pay extra special attention to (ex: your thesis). After that, all I need is your writing!
You should also know your word count in order to make your purchase.
Google Docs is the best way to provide critique as I use the 'suggesting' tool when giving feedback. All you have to do is share your writing with my email, thewritingws@gmail.com.
If you do not have a Google account, you can send your writing to me and I will provide you with a copy of the document with my applied edits, comments, and questions at the bottom of the page.
That's okay too! I can help you start to develop your thinking. Send me a message with your prompt and what you are struggling with and I will get back to you with some questions for you to think about. After that, I can look at your draft. I am happy to look at incomplete writing as well! For example, if you need to write 750 words but only have 200 done, you can purchase the 'up to 250 words' pack and I will edit what you have and provide feedback for how to keep going!
No! I do not write any content for you, but I do sometimes reorder or reword your thinking to ensure your thoughts are coming across most clearly. This is not an essay writing service though.
