Teaching is my joy. When working one-to-one with students, I endeavor to pass my love for my content on to my learners, sharing the beauty of humanity within a story. I love working with all types of learners, including those who may be more reluctant.
I believe I am a compassionate educator and understand students may bring different struggles to lessons: low confidence, learning disabilities, slower processing, dislike for the subject. Patience is key when working with students, and I can navigate students' struggles with them while supporting them in knowing they can do anything.
No matter where a student starts, they will see progress. I have taught students with a target of 6 in English literature who
ended up scoring a 9. I have supported students from failing marks to passing. No matter the student, if they put the effort in, they are bound to see progress in both marks and mindset.
